I just returned from a four-day trip. During that time, I thought only about bicycle parts, music and Brooklyn. When I returned, I switched on my computer to find that I hadn't missed a thing. The world went on without me.

I question whether an academic future is really in the cards. My typical philosophy blog fix did nothing for me. I was unimpressed with the gossip, and even less impressed with the questions these people concern themselves with.
