At work, everyone has nearly identical histories. We like the same music, know the same superstars and have the same general outlook on life. So what individuates me from them?

The answer is: a lot. I am so much more than I appear to be. And so are they. On paper, we might look sufficiently similar, but all this really demonstrates is the weakness of a paper-based assessment, or, for that matter, any third examining a first.
